YES, there are favorable times of the year for tuning your piano. You should always avoid tuning your piano at the height of the summer. Since humidity is at its greatest, the sunboard of the piano will absorb the extra moisture in the air causing the pitch to rise.
In the cold of winter when the air is dry, thermostats in the home instantly go up causing the sunboard to further dry out. This will result in the pitch of the piano likely falling.
This best time to tune your piano is in the Spring! Piano tunners also work better when it’s not too hot or too cold.
Happy tuning!

Thanks for the blog post. I thought it was interesting.
Spot on with this write-up, I truly assume this website needs rather more consideration. I’ll most likely be again to learn far more, thanks for that info.
I had this post saved a while in the past but my computer crashed. I have since gotten a new one and it took me a while to come across this! I also really like the template though.
Just to let you know, this post appears a little bit weird from my android phone. Who knows maybe it is just my phone. Great post by the way.
This is a appealing post by the way. I am going to go ahead and bookmark this post for my sis to check out later on tonight. Keep up the first-rate work.
